This brown fabric is the color of milk chocolate and is medium thickness with a canvas texture. It lets very little light through, but is not 100% blackout.

Crafted from 100% Cotton fabric, our curtains allow ample light while maintaining privacy. We recommend spot cleaning only to prevent shrinkage.

When you want it up, you hand fold or roll it in a matter of seconds. It is then held in place by two straps secured with hook & loop fastener strips. The straps on these curtains are designed to hang on either the front of the curtain or the back when the curtain is in the down position. Straps can be removed all together as well.

These small front door windows come in all sizes. They are normally wider than they are long. The top valance is 4" and when rolled or folded up the curtain hangs down approximately 6". We know there are many different sizes of Front door windows, so please contact us if you need a size different than this. 

Valances for the Small Front Door Curtains are 4" long unless otherwise requested in the notes when ordering. PLEASE INDICATE the size of valance you would like for your sidelight curtains. (4" or 7")

There are typically three kinds of sidelight windows: full, 3/4, and 1/2. We have found that the dimensions of these are not standard from company to company. The most common "Full" size usually requires a finished curtain size of 11" W x 70" L, fitting a glass size of 7-9" W x 63-68" L. The "3/4" size has a finished curtains size of 11"w x 52"L, fitting a glass size 7 -9"w x 48"L. And the "1/2" size has a finished curtain size of 11"w x 40"L, fitting a glass size of 7-9"w x 36"L.

Fabric is 65% cotton 35% polyester. We do not recommend washing this fabric, because it will shrink. We recommend spot cleaning only.

However mistakes do get made and packages occasionally find themselves lost. If the mistake is made by the USPS and not DDC, please follow up with them to track your lost package.  We cannot absorb the cost to remake/resend all curtains, but will work with the customer for the best solution and may offer curtains to be remade at half price.

*If a customer chooses to return a custom-made curtain, they will need to pay the return shipping cost and there is generally a restocking fee. If the fault is on our end, of course we will cover all costs.

*The UV spray protects your fabric from the sun for 2-3 years and then must be reapplied. (You can purchase spray from Joann Fabrics.) Dani Designs Co will not provide any warranties for faded curtains purchased without UV Protection. (The UV spray does not add any light filtering to your fabric.)
